I've never found it easy to say goodbye. I think my fatalistic brain catastrophizes all of the ways a parting can go sour, and a few people have left before I was ready to say goodbye.

But, all that said, I always find myself dwelling on how the good times went, too...

As Estelle said, "So we put on our bravest face and promise to meet again--whether it comes true of not--and we go back to our lives and keep on going."

I'll carry this whole trilogy in my heart for years to come.

10) Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter I can really see why this series is so beloved! The worldbuilding was done with such care and I really love how it seemed like everyone had a story... I picked this one up mostly for research for improving my tabletop writing, and I definitely got inspired!

9) Bound Destiny 3: Resonance There's so much to say on this game--to meditate on love and loss, on blood family and found family, on the stakes one must wager to truly become themself, and on the burdens one must leave behind to truly become free. Not "Goodbye, Bound Destiny", but "Thank you".

8) Promare (Rewatch) Honestly, one of my very very favorite movies of all time. Stylish fight scenes on an urban environment, absolutely mindblowing "camera" shots, inspiring costume design (see: Kinsui), and homoeroticism. So so much homoeroticism. Love these two. Please please please watch it.
