I'm slightly too young and Norwegian to be have experienced the golden era of scene/emo in the early 2000s, but I drew this at 12 so I don't think anyone can disqualify me as OG emo

"Combier Blanchette" - ~7.5/10 A swiss style absinthe. Has a beautiful louche, with slight blue opalescence and haziness. Although a bit slow and particle-y, reminiscent of the only other blanche absinthe I've had (Illsint Absint). Loud and clear anise both in smell and taste.

"La Fée NV Absinthe" - 4/10 A faux absinthe apparently marketed for students, with a lower ABV and artificial colours. Has a weak louche and a weak taste profile overall. They tell u to mix it for cocktails (like energy drinks) which idk I think it should be able to stand on it's own

"Devil's Botany London Absinthe" - 2/10 Does not louche. Tastes more like a gin mixed with toothpaste. Has grand wormwood, fennel and green anise, but none of those notes come through for me. They have a verte variation 'London Regalis' which looks promising but this is just eugh
