I really enjoyed Playing for Love by Jeevani Charika, a four star romance from my TBR. Two people who know each other slightly from their business incubator bldg unknowingly team up in an online gaming competition. Both of them find bravery when they need to. #CatChatBookClub 📚💙 Happy Birthday!🍰

My top books in May were Tali Girls, Siamak Herawi (translator Sara Khalili); Three Things About Elsie, Joanna Cannon; Miss Austen, Gill Hornby; The Land in Winter, Andrew Miller. All the books I finished were fiction, a few were skim reads, one very short story, a graphic novel, and four audio. 📚💙

It’s time for the “impossible” crime locked room mystery Death in the Dark, Stacey Bishop. It’s a spite write by composer George Antheil. Issued in 1930 to low sales and then rare to find.
