Neera Tanden on today's SCOTUS mail-in-ballot ruling: Voting is determined at the state level and Donald Trump should respect that.

Neera Tanden: We've heard an incredible amount of lies from Donald Trump about the war with Iran, and he's trying to manage our defeat.

Neera Tanden: We're seeing more progressive Dem nominees in places like New York, and moderate nominees in places like Iowa. Voters are picking who they think has the best chance in the general election—that's how democracy is supposed to work.

Neera Tanden: Americans are looking for leaders who will lower costs now, not 10 years from now.

Neera Tanden: We have to be honest about the two policies implemented by the Trump administration to raise costs: Trump's tariffs and his war.

Neera Tanden: CAP put forward ideas to lower the cost of housing, and a lot of Democrats have taken those ideas up. Those ideas would give rental relief and access to home ownership.

The ballroom was supposed to be privately funded, now they want $300 million of our taxpayer dollars for another Trump vanity project.

Neera Tanden on the DOJ opening an investigation into Gov. Newsom and his wife: This Department of Justice has confessed to going after Donald Trump's enemies before—it's a little naive to believe that's not happening here.

Neera Tanden: The only rationale for Trump starting his war is that he thought he'd win it quickly. At the end of this, Iran will be stronger and have more control over the Strait of Hormuz which is a strategic defeat for the United States.

Neera Tanden: If the Donald Trump thought the agreement with Iran to end the war was something for America to celebrate, he'd be the first to show us.
