Rewatch complete and they truly don’t make them like this anymore. The confidence and swagger that Errol Flynn possessed is truly astounding and unmatched! Terrific sets, colorful costumes, great cast and action that stands the test of time all add up to an absolute classic film.

J. G. Quintel returns to the park and brings us more absolutely absurd and downright hilarious stories! Definitely one of my favorite cartoons of the last 15 years. Hearing all the OG voice actors is like having all your friends back. Full of laughs and lunacy I need more now!

Curry Barker crafts one of the most uncomfortable and nerve wracking movie watching experiences I’ve had in a long time. Great cast with an absolutely amazing star making performance from Inde Navarrette! Moody, atmospheric and memorable score by Rock Burwell elevated the film!

Audiobook complete and Timothy Zahn ends his trilogy in stunning fashion. A great story filled with fun character moments, tons of Jedi action, clones and another victory for our heroes. Interesting elements that impacted the EU forever and still influences the franchise today!

Rewatch complete of Sammo Hung and JC’s entertaining late 90’s action comedy. Jackie mastered the art of playing the Everyman/action hero like few others and is charming as always. Filled with hard hitting action set pieces and stunts including a banger at the construction site.

DRUNKEN MASTER 2 is a gift that that keeps on giving all these years later. Jackie in his prime delivering some of his best fight traditional martial arts fights combined with his unique style of humor is a thing of beauty. A cinematic masterpiece!

Rewatched THE FURIOUS and I’m still in awe of what Kenji Tanigaki and Kensuke Sonomura have created. Everyone brings their A game and the finale with Miao and Taslim vs Yayan and Iwanaga vs Brian Le is an absolute all-timer that pushes choreography and camera work to a new level!

Liu Wenpu delivers a fast paced entertaining Chinese DTV wuxia film. The story is a standard mystery but elevate by the action by Xiaogui Du is full of hard hitting choreography, unique characters and tons of weapons. Cast is solid, score is great and the film looks beautiful.

Rewatch complete of my match of the year!! Epic in every sense of the word from storytelling to athleticism all culminating in a bloodbath that has to be seen to be believed. Two of the absolute best to ever step in the ring deliver an absolute classic!

William Kaufman delivers one the most brutal and intense action movies of the year. LaMonica Garrett is great his chemistry with Andrew Howard is fantastic while Bernhardt is truly an evil menace. Filled with lethal tactical action, solid performances and bombastic sound design.

Blades Of The Guardians is hands down one of my favorites of the year. Woo Ping flexing at 80 and hooking up his actors! Wu Jing and Max Zhang teaming up against Jet Li is a kung fu cinema fans dream come true! A modern day masterpiece!

Rewatch complete of Stanley Tong and JC’s take on a Bond film that while lite on the fighting still has some jaw dropping stunts, big action set pieces, patented Jackie humor and some great locations. The ladder fight is a true highlight and the shark tank is innovative and fun.

Yuen Woo-ping delivers an instant classic that is essentially a wuxia Fury Road! Epic in scope, fun memorable characters, amazing costume and set design all elevated by mind blowing surprisingly bloody fight scenes, great wirework and fantastic performances from an all star cast!

A celebration and at times heartfelt emotional farewell to a group of friends who have felt like they were all our friends! A mixture of memorable moments over the years and insane new segments that will have you laughing and wincing in your seats. They always did it their way!!

Rewatch complete of Rob Reiner’s comedic fantasy classic and one the greatest love stories of our time. Fantastic cast! Elwes and Wright’s chemistry is off the charts. Patinkin and Andre are so much fun. Filled swashbuckling action, genuine laughs and insanely quotable lines.

Rewatch complete and I’m reminded how raw and underground Jackass started out. One of the most fun dudes being dudes movies ever filled with comaradrie and a willingness to put their bodies on the line for our entertainment. Always makes me laugh no matter my mood.

Katie Dippold has created one of the biggest surprises in recent memory. What appears to be a workplace comedy becomes one of the most frightening stories I’ve seen in a long time. The cast top to bottom is excellent the writing and direction is fantastic. One of the years best!

The perfect way to end the summer and start the fall!! LFG!!!!!!!

James Nunn crafts an incredibly fun and intense creature feature. As always Nunn gets solid performances from his actors with Joaquim de Almeida having a blast and subtly stealing the movie. Great creepy locations and the hippopotamus looks amazing and is perfectly terrifying!!

Rewatch complete Jackie, Sammo, Gordon Chan, Frankie Chan, Corey Yuen and Dante Lam’s underrated 90s action extravaganza. A darker more mean story with some great fight action, hard hitting stunt work and some absolutely insane racing scenes courtesy of the legendary Bruce Law.

Rewatch complete and William Kaufman does it again. The GOAT of tactical action delivers an intense heist movie with some great twists and turns. Believable characters, fantastic acting and ballistic tactical action make this a top tier DTV and a must watch for fans of the genre.
