The Big, Ugly Bill that Republicans passed last year included billions of dollars of cuts to SNAP funding. In response, states are increasing paperwork and decreasing staff at SNAP offices which has resulted in hundreds of thousands of eligible SNAP recipients being kicked off of the program.
As we head into election season, it’s important to make a plan to vote. It’s also important to know that our elections are safe and secure, and you have many options available for you to exercise your right to vote including voting by mail, voting early, or voting on election day.

On June 24,2022 the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and upended decades of legal precedent that protected women’s reproductive rights. Around the country there has been an avalanche of laws passed that restrict access to critical reproductive care.
