Todays speech is a poem (and one of my all time favorites): The Jabberwocky, by Lewis Carroll, which insists that language is a construct and makes everything up while also being completely understandable.

People bring up the "Twice as good for half as much" speech all the time and it IS great but the "You are a boy" speech is still his gold standard for me. Motherfucker was chained up in a CIA black site and talking to the President and still read him for fucking FILTH. Just an ALL TIME monologue.

Been rewatching House and I got to episode 17 of season 1 and I gotta say Joe Morton just be acting his ASS off, man. Give that dude any amount of screen time and he WILL steal the scene. Like we all know Rowan Pope is one of the all time great villains but give him ANY role and he'll NAIL it.
