Joan Colom This image belongs to a series of photographs taken by the artist in the streets of Barcelona—in what is now known as the Raval—between 1958 and 1961, which conformed an exhibition titled La Calle (The Street), hosted at Sala Aixelà, also in 1961.
We recently bought in just about anything ever released by The Smiths and Morrissey. All on sale in the shop. Vinyl and CD.
One of our shirts made it all the way to HeyFolks! a record shop in Indonesia.

As usual with these sort of releases when there is a limited format we will sell all we have in the shop. Customers are welcome to reserve a copy in the shop of course. Transparent red 2LP vinyl in printed inner sleeves in triple gatefold outer sleeve with 16 page 12" booklet.
Busiest ever @recordstoredayuk.bsky.social but still lots of stock left and now out in the racks for easy browsing. Sunday opening is 10am to 6pm.
As happened last year the Record Store Day queue for Avalanche will be at the Waverley Bridge entrance. As always we encourage people not to queue as there is very little we will run out of quickly. Taylor Swift and Laufey fans need not worry! Or indeed fans of The Cure. We open at 8am.
For those asking you will not need to queue before we open at 8am on Record Store Day to buy the @recordstoredayuk.bsky.social Taylor Swift single. We have plenty coming and so long as you turn up in the morning you will be sure to get one.
We still have seven copies of the signed print left which I imagine won't last longer than the next couple of days.
A rare night out last night to see Star Wheel Press at Sneaky Pete's who were excellent. They did an inspired cover of Milkshake by Kelis instigating a crowd singalong. Enjoyed the support too Gurry Wurry so now have his cassette albums in the shop. Not the best pic I'm afraid.
We have bought in a very special vinyl collection. Jean Redpath's nephew brought in her own personal collection of her records all in mint condition. Jean of course is one of Scotland's most famous folk singers and was a flatmate of Bob Dylan when she moved to the States.
It was always the plan to move the display wall back once we had cleared all the boxes we had behind it and this week was the week and it has opened up a great new space for even more vinyl and CDs and given us more display space too.
