Today, I have been mostly volunteering. Litterpick in the morning followed by sorting shoebox gifts for underprivileged children. Also: wearing an almost obnoxiously christmassy jumper and looking smug. Message ends.

In #RateMyCulvert news, this morning, I was volunteering with the Canal and River Trust, and we were tasked with replacing some wooden slats in an overflow weir. I'm practically IN the culvert, lads! Unfortunately, I'd left my own phone in the car, so no gratuitous culvert closeups, apologies.
A #RateMyCulvert found whilst volunteering at the canal. This is just before a junction between two canals and the area we were in serves as an emergency flood plane.
They're not even trying very hard, judging by these two wholly unrelated accounts 🙄
