Your Congresswoman. Proudly representing the MA 7th. Here to break concrete ceilings & shake the table. Personal account. She/hers. #ChangeCantWait
Congratulations to my sister Stacey Plaskett on your historic victory this weekend. Virgin Islanders need your community-rooted leadership now more than ever. And I look forward to seeing you elected Governor in November.
@abdulelsayed.bsky.social is a champion for the bold, transformative solutions to the problems Michiganders are facing. And he has what it takes to build the coalition we need to win in November. Michigan, let's make Abdul the Democratic nominee for Senate tonight!
Tonight at 7pm, my partner @edmarkey.bsky.social takes the debate stage as the only candidate who is a champion for workers and families in Massachusetts. Let's send him back to the Senate so we can continue delivering for our communities.
We're done accepting the things we cannot change. It's time to change the things we can no longer accept. Michigan deserves a Senator who's a truth teller, a fighter, and a champion for the health and dignity of every person. That's why we must elect @abdulelsayed.bsky.social on Tuesday.
Who we vote for determines who's elected. Who's elected determines the policies. And the policies determine everything. We need @abdulelsayed.bsky.social and @donavanmckinney.bsky.social in Congress so they can fight for the bold, transformative policies Michiganders demand and deserve.
Such a joy to spend this morning speaking with worshipers at faith houses across Detroit. Michigan, let's make @abdulelsayed.bsky.social the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate on Tuesday.
@abdulelsayed.bsky.social is a fighter, disruptor, innovator, and truth-teller. And we need him in the Senate now more than ever.
Conan Harris, I'm so proud of the man, father and husband that you are.
We need more clean air and clean water, not more AI data centers.
The only people who should be ashamed of medical debt is the Republican Party because they have obstructed progress for affordable health care at every turn, and then they rescinded the rule that would have given you some relief.
It’s long past time for a fair contract. The billionaires on the MGB board of directors must put patients over profits NOW.
Thank you to Stella and every nurse in Massachusetts who cares for people like my mother every day. We need a fair contract now.
My friend @edmarkey.bsky.social is taking the debate stage as the only candidate ready to bring down costs and deliver for the people of Massachusetts. Let's send him back to the Senate!
There's only one Senate candidate in today's Western Mass Debate ready to stand up for every resident of Massachusetts. I'm looking forward to cheering on @edmarkey.bsky.social.
I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Committee to Protect Health Care. Patient wellbeing must always come before profit. I’ll never stop fighting for everyone’s right to health care.
In 1852 Frederick Douglass, an abolitionist, orator, and formerly enslaved man, delivered one of America’s most famous speeches: “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?” I read his speech into the public record on the House floor this week.
I’m proud that Congress has passed my bills to confront racial bias in home appraisals, protect renters from abusive corporate landlords, expand access to affordable housing, and help families build long-term financial stability. Trump must sign these bills into law as soon as possible.
The Supreme Court’s decision puts immigrants who have fled war, earthquakes, and other catastrophes in search of safety at risk. This ruling is lawless, unjust, and should not stand. The Senate should take our discharge petition up immediately to save lives.
Persecuting political opponents is for dictators. I’m proud to stand with @replamonica.bsky.social against these continued attacks against Black leadership and our democracy.
Utah, it’s time to get out and vote for Liban Mohamed and send another bold, transformational leader to Washington! Head to the polls TODAY to make your voice count.
Together we’re building a powerful movement rooted in love. We show up for our neighbors. We fight for your loved ones like they’re family. New York, you know what to do. Get to the polls for my sister in service @aoc.bsky.social TUESDAY June 23rd.
What a beautiful day in community at Franklin Park celebrating freedom. Today we choose joy, and tomorrow we continue to fight for reparations and a better future for all.
Happy Juneteenth, Boston! Today, let’s lean into community and joy. Let’s pay homage to our ancestors. Let’s pay tribute to their resilience, their radical dreams, and their radical work.
Right now, the average repair time for a wheelchair is two to four weeks, and it’s common for people to wait 6 months or more for repairs. My FAST Repairs for Wheelchairs Act would speed up repair times by cutting down on the red tape that insurance companies use to slow down repairs.
Thank you to Stephanie Everett for organizing this Boston Juneteenth brunch, a beautiful reminder of the power in community. Catch us across the district at Juneteenth celebrations this week.
