Kozak talks about his realization that he needed professional help mentally as things got more frantic the days following Kirk’s murder. Kozak expresses grief that they forgot their firstborn’s first birthday (which was days after the shooting) because they were so emotionally distraught.

Kozak talks about the immediate aftermath of the shooting and how there was a mixture of people offering him support and people targeting him but after a couple weeks, only the conspiracy theorists remained. “I’ve had profoundly beautiful moments,” he says about the empathetic responses.

Kozak discussed returning to UVU after the shooting and the mixture of reactions he received including threats, condolences, and teachers ignoring him while others offered him support. Kozak says he was drawn to quickly return because he needed the human connection as he parsed through his trauma.

Kozak explains the Sisyphean task of attempting to counter the conspiracies targeting him. Kozak says that, after a Kirk conspiracy theorist showed up to his home, he attempted to counter some of the narratives, which quickly backfired. “There is no winning and that’s the thing I really realized.”

During the TPUSA Chapter Leader Summit, they announced an upcoming men’s conference called “Invictus” set for California in October.

The final day of preliminary hearings concluded. Robinson was escorted back to Utah County Jail & hearings will resume September 1. TPUSA’s Jack Posobiec and former Tucson officer Brandon Tatum took questions outside the courthouse. Both expressed enthusiastic support for Robinson to be executed.

It’s past 9 PM outside the Fourth Judicial District Courthouse in Provo, UT and people are beginning to camp out for the night so they get a chance to get inside tomorrow’s hearing for Tyler Robinson. There’s very limited seating inside so people began lining up the moment today’s hearing ended.
