Meanwhile, Bob makes it to the top of the first flight of security stairs. He had stretched and squashed his body so much he was starting to get sore.
The Jesticulator who captured Amarela stops at the doorway, a weird little Goober slime is blocking her path, completely out of breath. She really has to put in a word with security management, these security stairs help nobody and take up half the defense prep time budget to install.
“Fuck security stairs.” Bob wheezes. “All my gloobies hate security stairs.”
The Jesticulator holds back a chuckle. While she appreciates the struggle, she still has an important message for Her Majesty. “Excuse me, you’re blocking the doorway.” She says politely.
Bob jumps back instantly, partially out of shock because he didn’t see anyone. “Sorry!” he barks.
“Thanks” The Jesticulator hops past him.
Bob breathes a long sigh, it would be the worst thing ever if he got caught after climbing all those stupid bowl stairs.

Page 17 (previously mislabeled as page 16) Poor Toby... he only got exactly what he hoped for...

Toby oozes down on Amarela like a drizzle of lukewarm tar. She smiles, it’s the same sort of texture as latex once it’s on her.
As it cascades down over her, she giggles, “It ticklsh!”
As Toby flows down Amarela and begins to lift her off the floor from the amount of surface area contact, the unlocked shackles hit the floor with a thud.
Every glistening curve, every detail, vacuumed down on and suspended in the air by strands of slime at Amarela’s shoulders. She’s completely encased in shiny black ooze, save for a hole at her mouth and nostrils, which are loud and whistling with Amarela’s heavy breaths and giddy giggles.
While the officer gathers the shackles from the floor, Toby achieves the comfortable, stretchy consistency of vulcanised rubber. He relaxes and adjusts a little more so he doesn’t sag with the weight. He’s a professional, he’s contained a lot of interdimensional specimens before and even done this kind of thing for fun at some slime parties. He breathes a sigh of relief.
He watches the officer set off down the corridor.
Toby feels Amarela try to stretch, the telltale sign that she’s about to test her bonds. He smirks. He’s a professional. Amarela pushes her elbows out and is met with a surprising amount of elastic force.
Was that a moan?
Amarela’s breathing gets heavier, she starts gyrating while she’s struggling. But he’s a professional, he’s done these at parties.
It dawns on Toby, he’s started idly squeezing down on Amarela’s tail. He does it once more just to test and she moans! Oh no! This is just like the parties!
Toby starts to panic, he’s on the clock. He’s a professional, he shouldn’t be doing this!
If he had blood it would be stone cold through his veins right now as he feels every moment of amarela shifting her arms into position, it’s too sweaty in there to even try stopping her at this point as she reaches for her genitals and breasts.
Panicking, his eyes dart for the corridor. “S-sir! I think she’s-” he starts, but nobody’s there.

Finally the trio arrives at a cell. The only one of its kind. Amarela can’t help but feel the slimes have been preparing for her.
“Stand there.” The officer orders. Amarela takes her place in the center of the cell, facing her jailers.
Toby already knows what to do, and Amarela watches with interest as he propagates up the wall effortlessly, to the ceiling above her.
A moment of awkwardness is cut by the officer, “Well?” He asks.
Toby looks at Amarela from above and gulps.
“S-sir? I’m not sure I’m your guy, she makes me feel kind of…” Toby trails off, embarrassed that this is something he’s saying to his boss.
“It’s normal to find this one attractive.” The officer says, his gaze trailing off to the side.
“Thanks!” Amarela says, prompting the shock of both the officer and Toby.
“A-and she can understand us by the way!” The officer barks, remembering he never told Toby this. Toby looks back at his superior as they both start sweating.
“Hi Toby.” Amarela says pleasantly. Toby’s eyes meet hers, he almost can’t take it.
Toby shrinks back a little and croaks out a “Hi…” with a shy smile.
“Um, so, as you encase her just pop the shackles off, she’s too dangerous to take them off now-” The officer starts, cut off by Toby, “But they rust if I touch them for too long. Don’t worry sir, I know.” he finishes for the officer.
The officer glares daggers at Toby. “but they rust if you touch them for too long.” He says, slowly. “Proceed.”

$The officer drags a shackled Amarela to her cell, Toby in tow, following behind Amarela. The Jesticulator had left to go tell the Queen the situation, the vibe is stale without her. On her way to the cell, Amarela is brought past other prisoners. Any curiosity over where the slimes took these people from dissipates because each one is being completely encased inside a glooper slime. Some of them move a little while others are like shiny black statues. The reflections and lights refract over every curve. Amarela cranes her head back to keep staring, her slime horns and tail wiggling a little. She starts pulling back against the officer, staring at the shiny figures so long the Gloopers encasing the prisoners start to look back at her worriedly. “Excuse me, move!?” The officer yells up at Amarela. Amarela looks down and it dawns on her as the Glooper yanks the chain with all his might: she forgot her own strength. Amarela feigns being yanked forward, allowing herself to be pulled along again. The officer still looks a little suspicious of her though. Then Amarela hears a gulp from the slime behind her, from Toby. She hopes she didn’t scare the guy.$

“Hmmm…” The Glooper thinks, the brim of his hat hanging down over his face in a way that makes him look even broodier.
He looks up again, this time neutrally. “Her Majesty will want to know… That’s your job, right?”
Amarela is instantly thrown into speculation, she’s closed, what, 3 slime hive portals and snooped around for a whole week inside one. In all that she’s never heard of a queen…
“Should I take her with me?” the Jesticulator asks.
The Glooper pauses. “Maybe ask how we are to… deliver this one?” He makes a tentative expression. “We wouldn’t want to offend Her Majesty.”
The Jesticulator sighs. “I’ll help you process her first.”

“What!?” The glooper jumps back, his hat leaving his head for just a moment. He holds his wide-eyed expression a moment longer until they start to look around his mind palace. He eases into a darker expression. His grievances blasted away by the information, he leans in closer to the Jesticulator.
His brows furrowed, he says in a low tone, “That’s–” He stops to clear his throat.
“That’s her?” The Glooper’s reaction to learning that Amarela is “The one we’re after” pulls her out of her headspace and into reality again. “Hmm?” she vocalises involuntarily. How much intel do the slimes have on her?
A tug on her leash pulls her back into the headspace as her Jesticulator slime raises a tentacle to gesture at her, “Well just look at her.” Amarela wiggles her slime horns, she got pulled down into a very revealing squat, whoops.
“She fits the reports perfectly.” The Jesticulator continues, her perfectly neutral tone of voice bringing reality creeping back in.

Amarela’s Jesticulator narrows her eyes and crosses a pair of tentacles. “I found this one in the portal room. She got past the gate guard. Security issue. Now stop being a prick.” She growls.
The Glooper with the officer hat instantly takes offense, his face scrunching up like a wrapper.
He takes a few breaths before barking “First: I’m still a higher rank than you. Show me some respect. Second: That guard is the strongest slime we have, he’s never been beaten! Don’t think you can fucking lie to me!”

The other captive watches the scene unfold in utter confusion. These two slimes just got into a shouting match. The green slime that caught him seems to be rooting for the other green slime and the… improperly dressed woman seems to find this whole ordeal funny? It’s like she understands whatever the fuck they’re saying?
“Hurbldurbr floblgloppsh!” The green one yells, pointing a tentacle into the face of the one with the stupid hat.
The hatted slime responds in kind, “Glorblopp!” it screeches, making itself taller than the green one.
“Bubblrflop!” The green one rolls her eyes and talks with attitude, prompting a loud muffled laugh from the woman and a tentacle raised like a fist and a “woot!” from his captor.
The one with the stupid hat looks like he might cry, his brow wobbles before he unleashes his comeback of “Glurglop burbl!”
“Merf!” the green one snaps, without delay.
He looks back at the woman’s face while she’s distracted, willing his eyes to stay on target long enough to see that, yes, there’s an understanding there. She knows what they’re saying. How?
His eyes falter and his head reflexively jerks away. He gulps. This is a mad house.

Meanwhile at the slime’s prison intake, Amarela closes her eyes and takes in all of the auditory stimulation.
Loudest is the wet hopping of the slime, in rhythm with the tugging of her leash. She’s letting herself be completely on-rails. Her footfalls are slow, soft, the plastic platforms clack against the stone floor pleasingly.
Her own heartbeat is controlled, but hammering. At her chest and at her loins. Her breathing too, slow, but shaky, and interrupted by heavy, wet slurps through her gag as she tries in vain not to drool on herself even more.
Quietest is the lubricated sliding and squelching of the latex thigh highs. An inhuman noise from a second skin.
She plays with her wrist cuffs, making a pleasant metallic noise.
She revels in her predicament, failing to hold back a greedy giggle as her spine tingles and her body stumbles.

The slime pulling her stops, and Amarela stops automatically. She opens her eyes as the green Jesticulator greets a dark ooze, a Glooper, who wears a funny white officer hat with a star on it. The Glooper already looks pretty angry, and as it looks Amarela up and down, Amarela looks behind it to see that another Jesticulator in its funny clown makeup has caught another human. The human peeks back at Amarela from under a wild tangle of ginger locks. He is nude, gagged and looks to be fresh from a bath. He seems to be around 25, though Amarela still towers over him. His patches of fur are puffy, His ears droop forward and his tail curls around his leg. He’s desperately turning his hips to try and hide his erection from Amber as it twitches in time with his peeking.
Amarela snickers to herself. Pathetic. Adorable.
“We’re in the middle of a crisis right now!” The Glooper’s harsh voice brings everyone's focus back to him. “It’s too dangerous to go catch more!”

The rest of the way to the stairs is filled with idle chatter. Llewellyn assures Bob that his friend probably just evacuated to the warrens without him and she’s probably worried.
Once they get to the entrance to the stairs, Llewellyn sighs. “Ait, I gotta finish this patrol then. Catch up with you later?” He asks.
“See you ‘round.” Bob replies, much more at ease than earlier.
Bob turns to the stairs and is met with a sight that drags his mood all the way back down.
Security stairs.
One of the security features of a slime hive dungeon. Irregularly spaced, bowl shaped and slippery, slime stairs are meant to be impossible to traverse for most non-slimes. Trouble is, Slimes don’t like them either.
Rainslimes have dedicated military access tunnels carved just for them. The network for how they are laid out is not shared with anyone who lacks clearance, such as Jesticulator slime agents.
Jesticulators themselves tend to use their tentacles to grapple up, bypassing having to hop from bowl to bowl. Gloopers avoid the steps entirely with their ability to stick to and climb the walls.
So Goobers, like Bob, are left with the short stick.
“Aw bollocks.” Bob curses under his breath as he stares up at the daunting vertical stretch of security stairs that seem to go on forever.

The other slime smiles back. “Say, I didn’t catch your name, buht.” He says, stopping. “I’m Llewellyn.”
“I’m Blobbert.” Bob responds, letting his guard down.
For a second, Bob feels the companionship from his days back in the slime hive. He sees Llewellyn preparing for a standard Goober greeting and reciprocates.
The pair launch themselves into each other in a mighty chest bump that produces a loud “CLAP.”
