Look how cute she is! She just wants to be an ice skater like her big sister! Her coach wants to help her achieve her dreams! (I know I talked about Uma Musume the game earlier, but I 100% recommend "Cinderella Grey".) I have recommended two sports animes, and it's not even my favorite genre.

Nice try, Billiam, but the internet is forever. And us trannies are receipt printers. Accusing trans people *once again* of not really caring about transphobia and instead using it as a cudgel to attack their enemies. This time in response to a specific critique of laundering Singal's reputation.

A, now deleted, set of bluesky skeets from Will Stancil. It was made on 4:27pm EST on June 29, 2026.

They read:

First skeet: I don't know why you guys so desperately want me to be transphobic but I'm not. Listen to my actual words and stop cherry-picking stuff from the middle of conversations: I think Singal has done horrific damage; I think the trans freakout in media gave cover to the worst bigots in America.

Second skeet: Ordinarily you'd expect these kinds of reassurances to be met with relief, but instead people argue back that you don't really mean them. It's as if some people don't really care about transphobia or bigotry; they simply want their perceived enemies to be bad so they more reason to hate them.

This is where I originally joined the situation, because people rightly were like "what the FUCK do you mean 'trap card'?" up and down my skyline. And tracing it back did not produce exculpatory evidence.

He has *finally* settled on this meaning, that it was mocking the leopard voters for how they voted. This is essentially the same explanation as the one above. This is the evening of May 6th, more than two days past when he originally made the joke.

The next day, in the afternoon, the explanation has change once again. This time, it's about him *mocking* the fascist institution of camps itself. It's a critique of fascism. That didn't work out so well, so backlash continued.

He continues, later that day, describing it slightly differently. Now he is mocking the idea that anyone would be safe. This is separate from a sarcastic extolling of 'oh be good, or you'll get got." This is later in the afternoon of May 5th, after more backlash about the joke.

When he was informed in that thread that Faeelin was GAY, and he had misinterpreted the meaning of his joke, he then retreated back to his own page. This is 10 hours later. Now he's just jokingly telling Faeelin to be 'one of the good ones' so he doesn't get sent to a camp.

“Nobles have Titi’s… same job? You protect the forest, and come when people need help, and keep the balance.”

“All of this is very true, ghostling.”

“Then…”

“The first issue is nobles are born noble. They inherit the title and power, they didn’t earn it, not like my profession Ĉasistoj or my title ‘Skulker’. The second issue is, unlike me, they don’t do any work. They claim they do all of those things, but they usually take money without working for it to make war with each other for the right to control more territory.

Trying to get back on the wagon with this. "Whim" isn't used much as a full word in either of my current WIPs, but here's a fun segment from "Bittersweet Future" of Jack Fenton's political opinions while waiting to meet the President. The description might be currently relevant.

Wanting to bring the GSU under closer control of an authorized branch of the military was completely understandable, if utterly ridiculous. There was already legislation going through both houses of Congress to officially establish the GSU as a separate branch of the military. Though it had stalled out recently as the aftermath of Austin loomed large in the public consciousness. Another reason Colorado needed to succeed, they needed more public goodwill, the passion of declaring the end to the War beginning to cool.

Jack smoothed out his face as a frown threatened to inch its way across it. Now was not the time to look unsure or weak. The aide stopped just outside of the door, waiting to be allowed to enter by the underpaid goons in suits the President employed instead of proper security. He’d decided to chose his own security, contravening tradition entirely, and the men—and they were all men— he picked were hulking mountains of flesh. They looked more like wrestler or body building champions than inconspicuous security, but such was the whims of the empty headed populist the country had elected. Besides, the President had told him, their guns were the real stopping power. It’s best they look intimidating instead of invisible. They left them hovering outside the door for some minutes. Before long, he realized it wasn’t a legitimate delay, but another attempt to demoralize him, make him feel trivial. Pathetic.

:3 It tasted very much like Banana, but the cake part was vanilla. Very good basic structure though, so I'm going to turn it into a coconut cake with coconut milk and shredded coconut flakes next time. Tropical Cake time!

#broke appears some 44 times in Bittersweet Future, mostly metaphorical descriptions of emotions like 'broke into giggles.' However, in the spirit of the previous day's Snip, let's have some more about those child soldiers. #AmWriting #WIPSnips

“Of course, they know people who died; they live in Amity.” They made it sound simple, pat, neat. Some factoid found in a children’s Fun Fact’s book or pulled up for a trivia game. “You can’t just ask people that, Williams.”

“Lay off! I haven’t met anyone from Amity or Austin or whatever, I just wanted to know—”

“—What? If we had some friends who bit it? Or maybe some family? Want to know if they came back as ghosts and the GSU had to hunt them down?”

“No Gray, what the fuck…” The silence stretched out as they finished their march across the cafeteria to get in line for lunch before physical training. “But, I mean, did some people—”

“—Holy shit, Williams, your brain is as thick and meaty as your pecs.”

“Come on, rocks for brains, be sensitive for five seconds.”

“Everyone lost someone in the attacks, Williams.” She cut through the arguing, voice quiet and heavy with emotion. “You know, they even had to dig out preschoolers from the rubble? Squished completely flat sometimes, just a smear of blood and broken bones. They had a lot of closed casket funerals, on account of the debris or the ectoburns, or you know? Plasmius has ecto-electric powers. Some of them were charred blacker than this floor, nothing but ash and burnt flesh stretched over exposed bone with crispy tendons and fat.”

“Enough Gray, you’re gonna scare the ghost virgins in our little group.”
