Im sure they did and went on to breed even more "disposable" dogs. Sadly pitties probably make up the majority of shelter dogs and are the most euthanized because of overcrowding.

I thought of you and Jagger. I just wish these dogs that for some fucked up reason get killed knew that we, so far away, have loved them. They die thinking/feeling no one loves them. It hurts.
