I know that it happened *in* the show, and that it references the card "quench", but does anyone else roll their eyes when a card is adapted purely for "meme value"? I felt the same way seeing the train fight in FF's "Suplex". "Haha exdee we put spongebob doing the meme on a magic card!"

I talk a lot about my issues with card designs, so heres some positivity. I love skull prophet. Slower than 1 mana dorks, but much more valuable and flexible in the long game. Wish we had more strategy-specific 2 mana dorks that have a second option
Outdoor magic, exposing my group to group slug. Also, a graham cracker broke wrong and I made long-s'more.
Drafted Tarkir recently and it's wonderful. I know 3 colors is generally worse than 2 but it was a total blast. Won 4 of my 5 games. Lotuslight dancers carried me, i feel bad about sending him around the table crossing fingers nobody else was playing sultai (never punished) #mtg #magicthegathering

I always wish cards that make your table play games were less mana. They're such a fun idea, and get people to interact with the game when it's not their turn, but paying a chunk of mana to potentially gain someone *else* advantage stings. Still love these cards though #mtg #magicthegathering
