Bristol’s Green leadership has been praised in a new, politically independent report from the Local Government Association. The evidence is clear: strong leadership, real collaboration, and a city moving forward together. We’re proud of how far we’ve come. And we’re just getting started.
Stop spiralling service charges. Homeowners are facing rising fees, despite government promises to clamp down. Residents deserve transparency, accountability, and fair costs - not hidden charges that take money from local communities. We need to hold landlords and management companies accountable.
Expanding Bristol Airport won’t bring jobs or economic benefits locally - most flights aren’t for work, and money often leaves the region. Meanwhile, carbon emissions and traffic will rise, with limited sustainable transport links. Growth should benefit local communities, not the aviation industry.
Safer streets matter! Potholes will be filled in and new road markings added as part of the £970,000 programme of work taking place throughout March. Thanks to our Green councillors for making funding for road repairs a focus of the 2026/27 Bristol City Council Budget!
‘Bristol is leading the way’ on renewables, says Martin McCluskey, the UK’s minister for energy consumers. And it shows what Green politics can deliver locally. This is what happens when we put communities, climate, and fairness first. Quote on graphic source: www.bristol247.com/climate/news...
That's Green politics in action - local leadership that cuts bills, cuts carbon, and puts people first. Read more about Bristol City Leap funding here: www.bristolcityleap.co.uk Quote: www.bristol247.com/climate/news...
