Based off of recs from people significantly smarter than me, I’m tackling this behemoth. Glad I am.
Check out this beautiful picture of a monarch today in my butterfly garden. Lmk if you’re interested in growing one. I can help!!
Pictures don’t do it justice. I saw the same thing tonight. Breathtaking.
Animals in flight kinda day in the garden. Plus a cute little fairy duster flower that happened to land on our tiki.
My favorite volunteer milkweed. I built her a little protective barrier from my dogs. 🤣 I just planted honeyvine milkweed. Have you ever grown that type of?
I love it!! I’m an Iowa farm girl, now living in Phoenix. Monarchs are incredibly important to my family. I learned everything I could about native milkweed and butterfly gardening. Monarchs visit my suburban little garden each year. I planted my garden in honor of my dad. Here’s a few other pics.
What type of milkweed is this? Check out my recent pics! 💚🦋💚🦋

It ain’t Christmas without kringla. God Jul to all celebrating. Who’s bringing the lefse?
My soft-spoken, agreeable, 73 year old mama is attending her first protest on May 1st. I’m so incredibly PROUD of her. She lives in a small, rural, deeply red part of the Midwest. This is one of the bravest, boldest things I’ve ever known her to do. Here’s her poster. She’s so proud of it.
My dog is so distraught, even he’s turning to weed. I think he’s trying to make his own bowl. 🤣
Currently reading this author that I heard about after I left the bird app. I always thought this stuff was corny crap, but, I’m seeing the value. At this point in my life, it’s all about becoming the best person I can be. I’m so happy I found a fellowship here.
Escaping booze and maintaining chronic depression and anxiety led me to write this.
