Character design and ref for @trashdognalan.bsky.social !! They wanted to change their fox sona to be part badger, and friends always seem to approach me about badgers for some reason...🤔 Getting a proper mix of the two, especially the face markings, was a fun puzzle! --- #furry #art #buyoart

A reference sheet of Enkh, an anthropomorphic mix of a silver fox and a badger. Their build is stocky and chubby at 5'4", and they seem to have a relatively grouchy or aloof disposition.

Their face is primarily white-furred on the forehead, upper snout, cheeks, and chin scruff, with a pale silver around the sides of the muzzle. They have the distinct black badger eye stripes as well, which extend up to black pointy fox ears with white tip tufts, and down toward the nose before zigzagging into a stripe on the side of the snout.

The pale silver of their snout is shared by their long, shaggy head fur that flows into a fluffy mane on their upper back. As the fur gets shorter, it blends into the middle-grey fur that covers the rest of their back, shoulders, and thighs.

The "underbelly" of their fur pattern is charcoal, fading to a darker black on their forearms, legs, butt, and tail. The same black forms a "body hair" pattern, extending from their neck down through their chest, belly, and crotch. Their tail is vulpine but slightly short, with a white tip, and their hands and feet are also tipped by pale silver fingers and toes. Their skin color is a light peach, save for the dark black of their fully padded hands and feet.

Their monochrome fur pattern is otherwise accented by copper accessories (round glasses, a bar industrial piercing across their upper left ear, and a ring septum), and the hazardous-looking green of their sharp claws and eyes.

some more of my fav gen 3 rares theres some heartbreaking damage on some of them though... the umby and the raichu got slight creases on the side from the rings of the binder they were in. and swampert has some surface damage on the back, likely from being under a paper someone wrote on ;_;

A reference sheet for an anthro lynx/caribou character named Caya.

They are predominantly lynx-like with orange and yellow fur that darkens to red at their fluffy forearms and feet. They have red spots on their upper arms and thighs, as well as a fluffy red mane, shaggy red hair, and red fluff poking out of their huge, tufted ears. Their caribou influence comes through in their hooved legs, teal antlers, and the short tail (although that IS trait the lynx half shares). Their skin, eyes, and inner ears are also various shades of the same teal hue.

Caya can also be drawn with lynx paws instead of hooves, or as a full lynx altogether. The drawings in the bottom right corner show their forehead markings with their bangs flipped up, and a toony pose of them in full kittymode

Nope no AI gen! You press this red record button at the bottom and it tracks your actions in a queue, like "Switch to Layer named 'Lineart'" or "Set Layer Opacity of current layer to 100%" or "Crop to Selection" Every action is one I manually did, saved to a sequence that I can redo with one click

(i realized i should probably figure something out once FA made profile pictures be a rounded square...) but yeah if any part of your art process could be automated to a scripted sequence of actions, i recommend trying it out i also have one for creating the borders around the art

Another Auto Action in clip Studio where I expand a selection and fill it with white in a single click.

I do this on a layer below the artwork to give it the white outline. This layer also has a border/stroke effect with the dark outline color (which is why I don't just do that for the white border), effectively doing both with a single click

I decided to try out auto-actions in clip studio to speed up my icon workflow and now all i have to do is press a button, wait like 15 seconds, and it goes through and automatically makes versions for the different borders, puts them in a folder, and then puts the folder in a new canvas 🥴

A fake magic the gathering card named I Don't Cost Fifty Dollars. The artwork is of Scythecat Cub and Bristly Bill, Spine Sower in a big red NO symbol.
The card is a 2 mana 2/2 green creature at uncommon rarity, with the creature type of "Anything Really". It has "Landfall - Whenever a land you control enters, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature you control." and no other abilities.
The flavor text is "I don't need all the bells and whistles I just want this damn effect on some creatures that don't cost as much as a week of groceries." referencing the fact that the only mono-green creatures with this effect are $40-60 dollars due to rarity and extra +1/+1 counter doubling effects attached... the only affordable ones are enchantments.

Panel 1: Vane, (Galarian Linoone, the erratic thief of the team) seems to appear out of nowhere with a "Yo I'm back", startling his teammate Pascal (Krokorok, the mechanic and fixer of the team). Vane follows up with "Went shopping with the company card."
Panel 2: A frustrated Pascal begins to say "you did what" before being interrupted by Vane pulling out a tacky form-over-function wrench that looks like a Magnemite, covered in stray screws and bolts. Vane says "got ya this cool wrench! It holds your screws so you don't lose 'em."
Panel 3: Fearing the price tag of such a novelty item, and already having all the wrenches and magnets he could ever need, Pascal nervously asks "...How much did you spend on it?"
Vane responds with "mmm... 'bout five minutes," as he continues to unload his loot, inspecting a random katana.
