Edmund Phelps, 1969-70 CASBS fellow & 2006 Nobel Prize winner, has died 🙏 Phelps famously encountered fellow 1969-70 fellow John Rawls at CASBS. A passage from Phelps's 2023 memoir, "My Journeys in Economic Theory" (2023) captures how CASBS facilitates interactions that exert influence for decades.
