As an archaeologist, I get how you end up with a title like this, but there has to be a better phrase than “non-formal sling balls.” That’s what I do on the weekend. Not at work.
Sketching out the slug dungeon layout for my Appendix N jam entry based on real slug anatomy. Didn’t think it would necessarily work, but I like how it turned out. Thinking you’ve got these disconnected systems but then adventurers might need to cut and push between them too. #OSR
Forecast for Sunday/Monday has what’s now Typhoon Bavi passing close to Saipan as at least a Category 3, but possibly could strengthen. Somehow feeling more anxious this time as I’m not there to prepare our house myself. We at least have a good neighbor house sitting. But still. 😬

Walked in to find my daughter practicing monster art from one of the @jpcoovert.bsky.social books I got her for Christmas. I’ll see if I can get a full picture of the fish monster she’s doing later.
