Seve, you're great, but how dare you go dropping this in the @codetv.dev Discord and complain about your productivity. Mine's shot now, I have to play this! How can I not!
Turns out each facet has a byteSlice property, with byteEnd and byteStart as child properties. Each post's text is - yeah - a series of bytes! So, given that and a uri as a 'feature', any string of the post can in fact be a link. It's not something available in Bluesky directly (yet?) but possible!
Pulling up the post in pdsls.dev, she pointed to the post record's facets. pdsls.dev/at://did:plc... Thinking in HTML, I looked for something saying, "wrap 'Backrooms and Obsession' in a link". No other instance of that text found other than in the post. Then how'd it render as anchor text?
I immediately bugged the first person I knew who knew about the AT Protocol. @brittanyellich.com patiently humored my curiosity about how pasting links worked with a pat acknowledgement, until I pointed out that the anchor text from the post rendered in the preview.
AT Proto might be my next rabbit hole. My quote won't show it, but click into @davidpierce.xyz's post below and you'll see something you might not expect if you're a recovering Twitter refugee: anchor text on a link. It blew me a way for a second. Did we get markdown in Bluesky?! No. Not quite.
The React Miami official photos are fantastic! Also, honest. If I'm going to keep up with the energy people bring to this and other confs, I need to get in better shape. I'd set out to do that last year to help my ADHD, and a layoff derailed that. T-1 year to get on point!
@nickyt.online it was a pleasure to take you to a @marlins.com game while you were in town!
Just got back from visting our spring training camp, where our Jupiter Hammerheads share a park with the Palm Beach Frozen Iguanas.
Need to find something in muh phone's Apps draw- Oh? What's this? 👀 @codetv.dev? As a PWA? codetv.dev
I swear companies are looking to old @adultswimcentral.com and @theonion.com content for ideas. Shot: varlogsimon.leaflet.pub/3m6zrw6k2bs2p Chaser: youtu.be/DJklHwoYgBQ?...
Hey, fans of @codetv.dev, #webdevchallenge, ans #leetheat! 👋 I was in a recent episode, but I'm also a volunteer mod on the CodeTV Discord. A bunch of us in the chat have been chatting about merch, and it got me wondering. Anyone else interested in CodeTV, Leet Heat, WDC, Learn With Jason merch?
Real talk, for anyone who thinks #LeetHeat doesn't bring the spice, no spoilers, but here's a couple screenshots of me before and after!
I just asked - with "Ask" selected! - Copilot using Claude Sonnet 3.5, "How can I make sure this mock is accurate?" It immediately went through my test files, upending everything I just struggled to write, and left me with this:
@wfla.com View of the 400-acre fire at Alafia State Park near Riverview, Florida.
Closing out the day and the conference (aw!), Katherine Herbet is reminding us about the importance of soft skills! #vueconfus2025

Looks like @vueconf.us has been taken over by the singular Dread Captain @abbeyperini.dev, talking to us about ADHD and web development! #vueconfus2025
Unfortunately, I missed Laurie's Copilot talk, but I'm back for lightning talks! With boba coffee!* *: @vueconf.us did not include boba coffee with the ticket price. Consult with @vueconf.us organizers to see if boba drinks can be provided at future confs if it's right for you. #vueconfus2025
Ladies and gentlemen, @danielroe.dev is now addressing the audience with the State of Nuxt 2025.
It was a blast emceeing the second half of #vueconfus2025 Day 1, but happy I get to be an attendee today! @danielkelly.io is tackling it this morning!
