The poster shows the title in pink bold text on a pale blue background, with a ken doll figure, stretched into a wide X shape and wrapped in translucent latex sheet positioned over the words, covering ‘Our’ but with the word still visible through the sheet.

@bjslave.bsky.social inspired me by making the same design first, and helped with laying out and cutting it out (so, so many). Then it was on to wetmoulding and dying the pieces, and a hell of a lot of stitching over Christmas! Very pleased with how the stitching and colouring came out!

The body and the tail of the facehugger laid out mostly flat on a carpet, with one line of stitching complete down the length.

The body of the facehugger held up in front of the camera, with the tail curling out of sight behind it. The fingers are still missing. Tinsel on a tree is visible in the background, as well as a sofa. The stitching on the facehugger is pleasingly neat.

Look I made it into an event photo! In monochrome, of course 🤣 This was brill, I felt very hot and very … vulnerable, protected, exposed, helpless, desired, ignored. All in one. 🫨

Sometimes I forget I have this, because it’s… just part of the living room at this point. This is a random globe drinks cabinet I re-painted to depict Arrakis (Dune) based on the map from the start of the original novel 🥰

Yellow-told globe inside a dark wood frame. Brown mountainous areas are scattered across the top of the globe, but it’s mostly desert.

A new piece for the ongoing series! Trussed Otter, 2025 Oil on canvas, 40x50cm Relaxing into this style now, I think. This one definitely was a challenge to finetune how I wanted it to look, but I am pleased with how it has ended up.

They’re wrapped tightly in red rope, with their hands out of frame and their forearms pulled close to the face. One of the ropes threads through their mouth, exposing their teeth to us. The painting is mostly just primary colours only loosely mixed using rough brushstrokes. There are heavy contrasts between the black surround / shadows and the blue-tinged highlights.

Oh why not. Prefect, Jan 2024 Oil on canvas, 40x30cm Brand new art for ya. My first try at following the style that my last painting embodied so well. It’s different, but I reckon it’s working! I suspect this will get some tweaks in a day or two but for now: I’m pretty happy 🥰

They’re holding a socked foot to their face, with the leg going off the bottom right corner of the frame - this is a point of view of the owner of the foot. The shirtless person’s face is entirely hidden by the socked foot and their own hand. Their other hand is supporting the heel. The artwork style is heavily contrasted, painted using black, white, blue, red and yellow with very few midtones between and little fine definitive detail.
