Update on the prints, Iteration 1 only had the cover fit right, Iteration 2 had the arduino bed size right, the lock reinforced, and soeaker mounts slimmed but still needs adjustments. The speaker mounts were too low and the hole for the USB C connector was still too small...

I grabbed small portions of the whole model, to test whether parts would fit together and if there need to be some adjustments. The full case alone is a 3+ hour print and if the screws wouldn't fit it'd be a waste of filament and time... Had to fight my printer to get it to run though...

Yesterday on a whim grabbed a tutorial and decided to remake a thing that didn't need remaking in Solidworks... yyyyeeeahhhh.. Guess I know how that works now in the basics

So the basic version is built and tested, I just want to make it possible to give the metal a custom color as well as make the leather customizable in color through hue sliders or something

I did it! I made the meme! I love how the render came out, it's so crisp <3

This is what has come out of the work so far, I tweaked a lot on the pose, the top material, changed out the top, tried some other things to add. So far I'm pretty pleased but I'm still open to suggestions to make it even better.

Here is a follow up on my precious post. Some people told me (in DMs) they would get a Cherry Daki. Kind of looked at printing some for funsies and they are not that expensive to have made if it's just the casings. Just don't have money or know how to handle the logistics to make it happen...
