Stede’s at Mary’s bachelorette party because the divorce was amicable and they’re newly minted bffs in addition to being exes. He’s giggling about the novelty dick straw that was plopped into his drink when the bartender suddenly appears in front of him to see if the crew needs refills.
When @annettefb.bsky.social asked me to draw Stede as a showgirl for the @ourfamilyourfight.bsky.social commission they won, I was very enthusiastic! I actually had a ton of references already because I saw Dita Von Teese perform a while back and left with *ideas*

I have this intact silver hand mirror that I found in the middle of the desert, in a place that there shouldn’t have been an intact silver mirror. I took it with me (obviously) but have never actually looked into the mirror. I have included it in art though!
