I always get volunteers from the seeds the birds and squirrels drop during the winter. For beauty, I plant the multihued cultivated ones. The birdseed ones grow Huge! Birds love them, but squirrels take the whole seed head off and run away with it...
I just did, and it's tough for the first month, so make certain she is all in! Love my new two month old puppy and so does my 8 year old Sheltie and my Siamese cat!
We do an adventure (usually a hike on the trails in Missoula) every day together! My Husky, Gator, crossed the rainbow bridge last summer at 13.5. The new pup is Bella and is a red Merle Aussie. Graycee Blue is the sweetest brave swimming Sheltie I have ever known! We are family!
