My Shield Oil pastel on cardboard 2026 "I am my shield... the lord has nothing to do with it...!"
I had a lot of fun taking photos of Rodo and Lapse in couch world (and the other IKEA showrooms, more photos imminent)
Fursona self portrait for I Love Furry. Can't wait for this show to open in June! #art #furry #traditionalart
Seeing as many people are sharing their creations, here's what I made for the show. I used a sewing machine for the first time and really enjoyed it :3
Time to start posting my art from the lovely Furry Cartooning class led by @gabumatt.bsky.social !! Here I take @softcorps.bsky.social out to a bar during our artfight week

A scat-based meritocracy is the OPPOSITE of what Scatman John proposes in Scatman's World
Nothing For Juice Love the backing vocals. This + my fav tracks from Ghana are what I think of when I think of early tMG. Fun fact: this was released three months before I was born! ❤️ Fav songs: Then the Letting Go, Heights, Alpha Double Negative, Blueberry Frost, Moon & Sand, Going to Scotland
Bitter Melon Farm Probably my least favorite of the compilation albums. Not as much variance here, many songs strike the same mood/pace/texture. Still some pleasure to be found! Such is life Fav songs: Going to Bangor, Historiography, The Bad Doctor, Snow Song, The Sign
Ghana The second of the compilation albums. Good stuff! There were some songs on here that were already favorites of mine, but diving into the full album revealed even more. Too many to list, so there's a screenshot of them. Good mix of evocative lyrics, silly gimmick songs, and catchy hooks
From www.npr.org/2026/01/16/n... I want to make a pithy comment but stuff like this just deepens the feeling that we're living in a failed democracy
*ring ring* Why, who could be calling Big Gay at this hour? @biggay.bsky.social #fursuit #photography #furry
Protein Source of the Future... Now! First of the three big compilation albums, very daunting to approach. Had to give this one time. Love the prose on Fresh Berries for You especially. Fav songs: Pure Heat, The Window Song, Fresh Berries for You, The Monkey Song, Love Cuts the Strings
Babylon Springs: just reviewing this one EP today because hoo boy it's a great one. From what might be my favorite era of tMG, this EP is nothing but bangers. I could list all five tracks as favorites, but special shout out to Alibi, a toe-tapping good time.
Sweden: I was intimidated by this because a lot of fans of the early work consider it to be the best tMG album. I feel like I should not have been intimidated. It's okay. Not sure I understand the devotion 🤷♂️ Fav songs: The Recognition Scene, Whole Wide World, Neon Orange Glimmer Song
Nine Black Poppies: this one is growing on me the more I listen to it. Lots of joy in the tracks on this record. A shorter offering, but all the easier to put on repeat for it. Fav songs: Cheshire County, Chanson Du Bon Chose, Stars Fell on Alabama
Zopilote Machine: an appropriately dense record for the first full length album. So much hangs on lyricism and vibes when production is this stripped back. Some favorites and a lot of almost favorites on here. Fav songs: Quetzalcoatl Eats Plums, Grendel's Mother, Going to Bristol, Going to Georgia
Beautiful Rat Sunset: funny that it's listed as the first Goats album on streamers when it's one of many early EPs. Charming, with a sparse, experimental feeling not seen on later releases. Hard not to love an album with that cover art! Fav songs: Itzcuintli-Totzli Days, New Star Song
I always like to see this going around again it's fun. I would really like to see Oregon and more of the northeast tenpages.github.io/us-level/us....
Hard to go wrong with Kentmere 100 or 400 for b&w and Kodak Colorplus or Gold (both 200 iso) for color. Prices have fluctuated a lot since I started shooting film but all three should be under $10 a roll from the Film Photography Project store. Sample images are Kentmere 100 35mm and Kodak Gold 120
