When people ask me online if I do "remarks," it always trips me up at first because I reflexively think they're asking me to talk about something. Then I realize they mean "remarques," as in a small drawing on a comic cover or card, like this.

We are waaaayyyy beyond the looking glass now. This man is clearly and indisputably insane... and no one who CAN do something about it WILL do something about it.
Watching TV commentators try to react to this in conventional terms is maddening. Just say it: This is a crazy person & someone should invoke the 25th right away. Compare this to the reaction after Biden slurred through a debate. Where is that pressure from these people? It drives me fucking crazy.
Putting aside how awful these people are... anybody else notice how he's only replacing the women? Do none of the awful men deserve to be fired?
Can you imagine how galling it must be for TSA workers, in addition to being overwhelmed at the job they're supposed to be doing, to also have to babysit an alternate workforce of untrained people who are being paid when they aren't? /3

The great Sal Buscema passed away over the weekend, just shy of 90. His work was just pure comics. Happy I got to meet him a couple of times; even happier I got to have his finishes over my layouts back in 1997 on an issue of ROBIN (see below). Like being knighted with a loaded brush. So long, sir.
