I mean I take it as a sign of the end when I can take this photo between Cheyenne and Greeley, and there's a ton of other agrivoltaics coming online in the middle of oil/coal country.
Honestly as long as you can get a good receiver/amp & speaker setup, you can just start adding parts and things as you want. I got this one for free from a friend (he got it at goodwill for like $50 originally) and the single CD player matches it and is 30 years older. Speakers are $100/pair Polks
Maybe look into a smaller midtower PC from the early 2000s? Like this one has an *acrylic* side panel, and is blue. The GreenMachine is mine (and I've had that case for 23 years!)
Hey my first apartment was also brick walled and didn't have AC. It also had these really cool (but not at all helpful and also some were broken) sliding mid century windows. Which is also the perfect use case for the (less good but great if it's hot) portable Air Conditioners.

In the case of Fresnels, it's by moving the lamp carriage back or forth behind the step lens. In an ERS, it's moving the lens. (Which can produce very sharp lighting which is why they're used with Stencils/patterns/Gobos) Pars just have cheap swappable lenses.

This is a cat checkpoint! This is Bosco, he's almost 4, and is a quiet little void. He's the biggest scaredy cat and the most curious cat I've ever seen
Nice! Yeah I pulled this one (it's from a pile of things from my grandfather) and it started up just fine. Looks like he replaced the plug at some point. Looks like this one is aluminum too!
Yeah but they're probably with steel casings and I guarantee those weigh about 4 pounds on their own
