Seawatch at Strumble with @welshnaturelady.bsky.social, 1000s of Manx early, a single Bonxie, Common Scoter. First few Wall of the year. Quick stop at West Williamston, 10+ Clouded Yellow.
Couple of hours at Cors Fochno with @welshnaturelady.bsky.social , Black Darter, Black Tailed Skimmer, a few Gatekeeper, Common Blue, then onto Dyfi to watch the Ospreys. YL Gull at Pencarreg on the way back.
10 mins in the garden after work, 7 Gatekeeper, 3 Small Tort, singles of Painted Lady, Meadow Brown, Large White, Common Blue, Red Admiral.
First time out birding locally for a while, YL Gull, Avocet at Kidwelly Quay. Spotshank at Penclacwydd, 4 Clouded Yellow at Pontlliw on the way home. #birdingWales

Nice day out with @welshnaturelady.bsky.social yesterday for butterfly. First Small Blue, Brown Argus of the year, yay. A few Yammer and Corn Bunt too.
Walk home after work, first Gatekeepers of the year, only 2nd Holly Blue, still lots of Painted Lady. Essex on the patch, nice. 18 species.
Early work finish, nice to get better views of the Western Reef Heron than a few weeks ago. White Stork in Tregaron. #birdingwales
10 miles on the patch today, lots of butterfly, Purple Hairstreak and 2 Silver Washed Frit the highlights. A few dragonfly, distant Emperor that never settled, a few Broad Bodied Chaser, Goldenring.
Couple of walks on the patch the last few days. Purple Hairstreak, Cwm Clydach. Lots of Small Heath, Meadow Brown, Ringlet. Smaller number of Painted Lady, Large/Small Skipper, Small Tort on Mynydd Gellionnen.

Visit to Ewyas Harold with @welshnaturelady.bsky.social, a few Grizzled, Dingy, Large Skipper, Small Copper, lots of Common Blue, scores of Silver Y. Quick stop at Usk to drop of info sign and visit the Osprey nest.
Only 2 butterfly on today's quick walk, Painted Lady, Speckled Wood. A few Beautiful Demoiselle and a Large Red Damselfly.
Quick work break walk on a short stretch of River Tawe, 10+ Painted Lady, a few Small Tort, Beautiful Demoiselle and Silver Y.
Ran the moth trap for the first time in over a year, nothing of note, 4 Pale Tussock, 10+ Treble Lines, Green Carpet.
Walk at Corran today and a trip on the Glenelg Ferry. New to us car has been good, half its mies on electric even though its a plug in hybrid.
Visit to the Cairngorms with @welshnaturelady.bsky.social, nice to see a few Osprey around, my hopes of an easy Crested Tit tick were dashed at Loch Garten as they've taken all the feeders down.

Seawatch at Rua Reidh Lighthouse with @welshnaturelady.bsky.social, adult Pom Skua in the first 15 mins then nothing of note for the next 4 hours. A few GND were nice though. #birdingScotland
Another WTE on Skye with @welshnaturelady.bsky.social, then a seawatch at Staffin, 2 Bonxie, Arctic Skua, Otter the highlights but a constant stream of birds the whole watch.
Nice wander today at Corran with @welshnaturelady.bsky.social, Cuckoos calling everywhere, Twite around the crofts. Hour at Glenelg ferry, 21 Kittwake through, WTE on Skye on the drive back. Sunny but cold.
