It’s cooling off nicely! LOL. From a high today of 100.9, all the way down to 99.9 currently. If you are wondering what the 87.4 temp is in the upper right, that’s my pool temperature.

Back wall of the new bar is ready to tile which I might do tomorrow. Either way, finally some noticeable progress. I say “might do tomorrow” because tonight we DRINK and be MERRY with friends!

Last week I ordered this light switch for the bar I’m building on the lanai. When people are over and they ask if they can turn the bar lights on, I just want to be able to say: “sure, flip the SCE to AUX”.

We received a measly .49” of rain yesterday. After all the brouhaha (tornado warnings, flash flood warnings) we didn’t get nearly enough to make a dent in the drought. Although it appears that Sarasota got the rain I was hoping for here.

The last time it rained here was on 4/8 where we received .48” of rain. Before that it was on 3/12 that we received .12”, not much to speak of over the past 2 months. So hopefully and with any luck…
