I’m fairly certain that we have had enough rain for one day…
So far today I’m on my 6th tap out. Oh! Wait. I misread your post. It’s my 6th out of a tap today.
However much I hate to admit this, they are cheaper now. On 1/22/2025 I paid $5.77 for 12 extra large eggs from Publix (yup, I made a note of the price because I was thinking to myself - WTF!). Today on Instacart they are…
Hooked up the electric to the bar, so of course I had to hang the Guinness sign.
Day moons are the best moons. Ten Mile Lake in Minnesota.
My current view. Ten mile lake in Hackensack MN. Where it’s currently 58 beautiful degrees.
That was A LOT of damn work! But the tiling part is finally complete.
It’s cooling off nicely! LOL. From a high today of 100.9, all the way down to 99.9 currently. If you are wondering what the 87.4 temp is in the upper right, that’s my pool temperature.
Except for the crown molding, it’s finally done! Next up, tile the back wall.
Back wall of the new bar is ready to tile which I might do tomorrow. Either way, finally some noticeable progress. I say “might do tomorrow” because tonight we DRINK and be MERRY with friends!
Wow! 1st look at the pad. Photo credit: Asher B/ Launch Heaven. One thing is 100% certain: they won’t be launching anything from LC-36 for quite some time.
I’m wondering if this is smoke from the New Glen Explosion? Looking east from my back yard.
A pic from the launch this morning complete with booster return burn. You may need to zoom in to see the light from the booster.
4.21” of rain per hour, 3.95” in total. 😳😳 The pool wasn’t ready for that much rain.
Last week I ordered this light switch for the bar I’m building on the lanai. When people are over and they ask if they can turn the bar lights on, I just want to be able to say: “sure, flip the SCE to AUX”.
@sailracer808.bsky.social Congratulations! The lowest approval rating in the country! 😀
We received a measly .49” of rain yesterday. After all the brouhaha (tornado warnings, flash flood warnings) we didn’t get nearly enough to make a dent in the drought. Although it appears that Sarasota got the rain I was hoping for here.
The last time it rained here was on 4/8 where we received .48” of rain. Before that it was on 3/12 that we received .12”, not much to speak of over the past 2 months. So hopefully and with any luck…
