Exactly right. And it has been the "conservative" agenda and wet dream and since at least the 1970s. They HATE good government! Remember Paul Weyrich's famous quote:

The median homebuyer age rose from 39 in 2005 to 59 in 2025 That's 20 years over 20 years! Seems like it's literally the same people buying the homes two decades later. This is scandalous. It must change so that young people can afford housing.

How much does this have to do with it? I started working my first job in 1972 and retired in the early 2000s. This 'disconnect', i.e., theft from workers compensation, continues to worsen and is the main reason that younger workers can't afford housing and accumulate wealth. Stop blaming "boomers".
