Bardolf Farm - Huge elation when I heard a Cuckoo calling from Burleston Pond. The bird was likely forced down by the driving rain. A few minutes later it flew low over Home field SE towards Tolpuddle. The last farm record was in 2016! Woo Hoo! 🦉🌍🦜 @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social

Bardolf Farm - Water levels are still good at Puddletown Water Meadows. Daily visits have seen regular species including Cattle Egret (3 to 5) and Green Sandpiper (1 to 3), A Mandarin pair over Causeway pond this morning. @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social
Ghana - Mole National Park produced some stunning Kingfishers (Grey-headed, Blue-breasted) and colourful Bee-eaters (Northern Carmine, Red Throated) 🦉🌍🦜
Ghana - A few species encountered whilst visiting Ebekawopa (Abrafo) farm scrub habitat. Hairy Breasted Barbet, Rosy Bee-eater, Yellow Rumped Tinkerbird and White-throated Bee-eater.
Bardolf Farm - Common Bird Census Survey day provided a Firecrest which was very vocal and a first for my farm survey sheets! A family party of Egyptian Goose. Wren 29, Robin 22, and Chiffchaff 12 singing birds across six survey areas. 🦉🌍🦜 @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social
Bardolf Farm - Mediterranean and Black-headed Gull movement continues through the farm. Corn Bunting and Yellowhammer are a regular feature at the feeding stations. Hebrew Character the only moth in the trap this morning. @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social
