I have read some books by Venezuelan authors, always people that were either migrated or grew up elsewhere. Of these works, the one that impressed me was El último Narval by Jesús Amalio Lugo. It's surreal, scifi drama magical realism and poetic. Go read it! #Latinsky

Gorgeous is now drinking the warm food soup and purring nonstop but she is insanely underweight and I suspect anemic as well. I am going to see if they sell a special food in the village that is for critical care cats.

I got a book haul for the end of my trip. Wanted to also get a wuxia novel that can't be bought in Mexico, but it was very heavy. I feel ashamed I am going to sample The cruel prince. I have no idea if I will tolerate it. 😅

I had plenty of fun reading the book The improbable we can do today by Jon Dixon. Been a while since my last book fanart. It was to difficult not to succumb to the temptation of drawing amateur sleuth Meriva Secaret. The review will be available next week when I have free time.

I haven't drawn much this month, but I am fed up of feeling bored with my flat hair rendering, so I am experimenting with tutorials of complicated art styles far unlike my own. My Leenx sketch shows I still have to work in this skill.
