Playing a solo game of Fortune and Glory tonight. I love Flying Frog games because they feel like Games Workshop games of the late 80’s and early 90’s.
Latest build. It was only my second Moderoid kit (my first being their Reideen kit) and I really enjoyed it. I’m not quite done, I still plan on applying the waterslides and giving it a matte coat, but I’m going to wait for the weather to clear up a bit, as I’ll need to do the topcoat outside.
Most of the time they’re total buttheads, but every once in a while I’ll walk in to this-
Just made a fried mortadella sandwich for lunch (a favorite of Anthony Bourdain, which is how I learned about it), and damn, that’s a good sandwich.
The new 40K Custodes look absolutely sick and I’m laughing my ass off at the neckbeards losing their shit over female Custodes (which on the model is a simple head swap).
Went to my public library to do my civic duty today, and while I was there I decided to check out some manga.
So I finished The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow last night and WOW. The best thing I can say about it was that it felt like I was playing a Hammer Horror film from the late 60’s (and I’m a huge Hammer Horror fan). I could see the film in my head, the atmosphere of the game was that good.
I got a Steam Deck this week and now it’s my whole ass personality
I love building Gundams, but hate assembling Warhammer. 🤷🏻♂️
Made beef with broccoli for dinner tonight, and I’m pretty damn happy with it.
Current WIP. Mostly enjoying the build, but the hands are awful. Definitely going to replace them because not only are the functionally terrible, they look awful. Otherwise this kit is pretty awesome so far.
