Shoutout to these games for shattering the boundaries of baby Josie's perception of video games. The idea of using games to solve complex and intricate mysteries and fully explore the depths of a story was the most incredible thing in the world to me way back when.

It's fun to pretend that a place is yours
A patch of existence
All your own
All the feelings it carries

All it means, will mean, or has ever meant

None of it real, of course
An illusory seclusion sealed only by slim silence
It's fun though!

In reality, no place can be owned.
You can't put the feelings of it in your pocket.
You can't tie the meaning in a bow and zip it up in your purse.

It's too big, you'd put holes in it!

Like anything that's worth anything
It's shared.

Shared in a million ways, by a million lives through a million moments.

You'd think that'd ruin it, right?
That dilution of delusion.

But what's the harm in a little shared madness?
A little game of pretend both communal and so solitary.

There's joy in being alone in a crowd.
Not an intersection
But a pretty little parallel.

It's yours. It's theirs. It's hers. It's his. It's its.

And that's everything.

Oh I'm ALWAYS down to do one of these. These are my some consistent huge faves of mine. I love aquatic motifs, little weirdos and unquestioned elegance all in equal measure~ There's really very little competitive cohesion here, these are just the ones that I love~
