A couple of years back, I've visited the Hrubý Jeseník mountain range. After descending from Mt. Šerák to the village Ramzová, I missed my train back to Šumperk where my hotel was... because there were no trains in service at that time due to construction work.

Made stovetop mac'n'cheese for dinner. (I've been wanting to try my hand at this recipe for quite a while now.) Uncle /loved/ it, and so did I. 🤤 Used smoked meat instead of pancetta, and my pasta of choice was the interestingly-shaped gigli.

Nějaké čtyři roky zpátky měl Kaván opravdu nádhernou výstavu v Liberci. Některé obrazy mě neskutečně zasáhly. Je neuvěřitelné, že není víc proslulý. (Koupila jsem si tam asi tříkilovou knihu jeho tvorby. Drahá, ale stála za to. 👍)

Also, on the 1st of March I've planted ten tomato seeds. Five of them sprouted, and today I've re-potted them into bigger containers. So here - enjoy a photo of the younglings, living their best vaporwave lives.🍅

Also, I may start to phase the roses out, because they don't grow very well in our soil (which is fairly clay-rich). Black spot disease is a huge problem here. On the other hand, peonies do really well, as do hydrangeas. Which I still need to crop a little. 😅

All you Project Hail Mary fans - I have an opportunity to watch it tomorrow, but it'll mean I'll have to kill time in the city for a couple of hours and afterwards most likely take a taxi home. Is it worth seeing on the silver screen, or should I wait for a home release?

Made the gyudon from justonecookbook for dinner, and it was so frickin' delicious! Sadly, I don't have proper food bowls for a donburi, and I also served it with a poached egg rather than onsen tamago as it's faster to make, but it was just... 😚👌. So good. #和食
