Important reminder for teachers - there is no neutrality when discussing a genocide. Andy Harvey of EIS spoke to us about some the challenges teachers navigate when they are considering teaching about current events.
At our first conference @ross-greer.bsky.social argued that young people want to understand the Palestine issue. He also noted the historic responsibility Scotland has and the importance of teaching young people how to tackle injustice. It’s why we continue to call for a national teaching resource.
