Hey! Here's a better picture of the book, and a close up of the information plaque :) It was also from this exhibition, if you're curious: www.museum-barberini.de/de/ausstellu...
Hi! I'm Emily, an Aussie freelance narrative designer & writer, with a background in community management. My favourite game is Pentiment, and my current hobby is exploring my new home in Berlin, Germany. (aaaand I'm not at GDC, and likely never will be at this point) #WhatAGameDevLooksLike
i've always been rubbish at reading academic texts for games, but i'm trying my dang best to read more of them. How To Queer the World by Bo Ruberg has been a delight so far, if a tad dense for my antsy brain
2025 has been a life changing year for me! Highlights: 💔 Said goodbye to NZ and moved to Berlin via Aus & Singapore 🎮 Began working on 3 new projects (more on that in 2026) 🇩🇪 Battled Germany Bureaucracy 💤 Most importantly, began recovering from burnout! Here's to an even better 2026 🎉
I bought a dumb phone and it has snake on it. we are so back.
me when i watch this on the gdc vault, pogged out of my gourd
Hello gamers I married the love of my life on Friday and I'm so fucken happy 🥹
For any fellow Pākehā folks at home, twiddling their thumbs, wishing they could do more to support the hīkoi -- you can! Please consider making a submission to Parliament like I did just now. You can use my entry as inspo, but a much better idea would be using The Greens' guide. (links below)
