Happy Saturday! I've got a first read through done of a Regency Cthulhu scenario done and it's off to the editor, which make take a while, but super excited its getting close to done! The mostly done version of my Regency Cthulhu scenario, Upstairs Downstairs, is off to my Sense and Sensibility advisor to check for, well, how much it makes sense and if it's sensible. Many of the fiddly bits remain around layout, art and such like, but this feels like progress.

Getting there with my Regency Cthulhu scenario. It was about 80% written up last year for Chaosium Con, and by this year's event about 82-3% written up. Shameful. Since then though, I've had a burst of energy and got on it again. Please send any spare motivation for the week ahead!

Back from Chaosium Con and had a great time. Met up with so many people, caught up with old friends and made some new ones. Some great games, one or two variable ones. Smashed a fantastic and useful (user reviews) seminar with @burnafterrunning.bsky.social and ran three Pendragon sessions!

Last game of #Northstar was me running WH40K Space Orks using Savage Worlds. Great fun with hunting down a hummie sky-un-tish, stealing a Rhino to do doughnuts in, negotiating with a horde of gobbers, setting a cathedral on fire as a distraction and raving to klaxxons and flighting lights

Last game of Saturday at #Northstar is my Savage Worlds Hell on Earth. Mad Maxine let the demon out to play more than once, "Gunny" took a battle to victory at the eleventh hour, Brother Julius made a prescient prediction, Major Revok freaked himself out even more and Freeway got new hubcap armour.

Game two of #Northstar is Alien (1e). My Political Officer is getting unfairly betrayed by a treacherous medical tech. All I wanted to do was let the xenos do their work on the other three crew. There aren't enough cryobeds to go round as it is...

Fun times playing some @bastionland.bsky.social Mythic Bastionland last night for the channel. Horrible creatures of all types waylaid our curious knights, and we suffered the loss of one of our favourite own! Entertaining evening uncovering fascinating myths and sticking a lance in them.

I had missed Upgrade when it came out (and thereafter), but it's quite a good relatively low budget sci fi cyberpunky thing. Fairly straightforward, and could have used more money to flesh it out, but a fun watch for genre fans.
