Dear science communicators, This image doesn't show a void: earthsky.org/upl/2021/11/... It's a dust cloud. In astronomical terms, practically the opposite of a void. So please stop showing it when talking about voids as a cosmological environment. Thanks.

One weird thing about more recent live-action remakes of animated films is this bizarre need to create uncanny hyper-realistic versions of existing cartoon characters instead of redesigning them for the new format. Thinking of the seven dwarfs, and now Toothless. www.denofgeek.com/wp-content/u...

Picky eater trend (because it sounded fun) Certain kinds of seafood and also black or green teas tend to make me feel queasy if I have too much (though I like the flavors of each). Never had escargot, but would try it. Basically, I am a dumpster.
