The #EndofOakStreet is a very fun, wildly well-made, Jurassic Suburb with a great period setting, plentiful surprises and lots of creepiness. My one issue is best scenes - of which there are many - shine way brighter than the rest. So it feels a little off, but is still very good.
I don’t normally wear like a Spielberg/Williams, Nolan/Göransson or Bird/Giacchino shirt to their movies but those movies aren’t Tony.
Waited 2.5 hours to ride the new Fast and Furious ride today before its official opening. Worth it. It’s insane.
Don’t mind me. I’m just sitting here crying after watching #SpidermanBrandNewDay It’s a massive movie that balances like 5 different through lines in equal measure, each better than the last. It can feel a little overwhelming but it all comes together so beautifully it works.
I will always love the fact MLB All Star, & Chicago Cubs superstar, Pete Crow Armstrong, is the son of Ashley Crow. Aka Billy Heywood’s mom in Little Big League. The mom in Little Big League is the mom of an actual big leaguer. (I’m aware most people know this. I don’t care.)
#TheOdyssey is *almost* as good as you want it to be. Of course, it's a filmmaking marvel, and I was fully engaged throughout. But, at times, the story moves in such a beautiful, jazz-like way that the more stagnant moments suffer by comparison. Small gripe, though. I can't wait to see again.

The World Cup is finally here! I’m going to three games in person and am legit beyond excited about it.
Can confirm @ny-knicks.bsky.social vibes are good from coast to coast. Rocking my Brunson shirt at Disneyland today and have had at least a dozen people shout me out or give a fist bump in the first 3 hours. “One more,” we all say with a great big smile.
#ToyStory5 is a tiny bit disjointed at the start as it builds multiple different story lines, but they end up paying off with a phenomenal third act filled with all the heart and humor you expect from Pixar. Top tier stuff. I laughed, I cried, I loved it.

I loved #DisclosureDay. A dense roller coaster ride blending chase film, love story, & mystery, all wrapped in sci-fi wonder. It's Spielberg's best film in 20 years, filled with all the magic that makes his films so special, plus an all-time character and performance by Emily Blunt.
The last time the @ny-knicks.bsky.social made the NBA Finals, I couldn’t legally drink. I’d just got my 1st cell phone. High speed internet was still new. The Phantom Menace was in theaters. Jalen Brunson was 2 years old. I can’t believe it. 3rd Finals of my lifetime. 3rd time the charm?
#MastersoftheUniverse has a very fun, weird, yet enjoyable last 20 minutes or so. As for the rest of the movie? It’s a mess. Serious played for laughs, laughs played for emotion, it works, it doesn’t, it really tries but ends up being too awkward. Great end credits scenes though
#TheMandalorianandGrogu is as expected. A longer, bigger episode of the show. It has one or two stand out scenes but it feels much more interested in developing the story to new locations with new creatures than the characters. Enjoyed some of it, left frustrated by the rest

I, of course, already watched the episodes but I’m stoked to watch the Maul: Shadow Lord finale on the big screen tonight followed by a Q&A with Sam Witwer, Brad Rau, and some guy named Dave Filoni.

Mortal Kombat II is a lot of fun. It’s basically just wall to wall fighting the entire time with high stakes and a bare bones story but it works. Katana and Johnny Cage drive that story and provide some excellent moments but it’s the action, gore and humor that shine through.
The Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies ever. I was very skeptical and worried about a musical adaptation. I was wrong. It’s so much fun. So epic and entertaining. Lots of smart changes, but also lots of nostalgia. I really really loved it.
I’m surrounded by assholes! Just saw first footage from Spaceballs: The New One at CinemaCon and couldn’t be happier about it.
Friends know how all in Jayne and I were on UCLA bball this year. So to watch an icon like Thierry Henry speak about them in a totally different forum brought me so much joy.
Was at IMAX HQ recently and got star stuck when I saw they have the white board Ryan Coogler did to explain Sinners’ different formats behind glass and displayed on the wall. So cool.
