I recorded Round-Headed Rampion (Phyteuma orbiculare) for the first time on the slopes of Cherhill Downs earlier this week. The plants were well visited by Marbled white butterflies. #wildflowerhour

The rolling landscape also contributes to this, in my view, with its hedgerows, field margins and, last but not least, the awareness raised through #NationalMeadowsDay of the enormous value of these habitats for wildlife. Keep up the great work!
