It had been a while, but I checked in at the Lulu bookstore this morning, and yesterday someone picked up copies of all three of the GtO paperbacks, which restored my faith a little in something or other 🙂
Today I am mostly thinking about when a birdwatcher puts down their binoculars for the very last time, and the sights that will now go unseen…

Kind words from yer actual Gruntleigh’s Earth-based representative about the third book in the series this morning. Their opinion was the one I was most nervous about, so it’s good to hear 🙂
VISION ON SOUND is taking its summer break. We’ll be back in the autumn.
Found the sketchbook from the last time I left the UK (in 2019) - seems that I spent a lot of time drawing (!!!) - this trip was (incidentally) what prompted me to start drawing again, and all of what followed (for good or ill) stemmed from this 😱
It takes a rare talent to pick a frame from the episode that actually features the episode title and then still manage to get the spelling wrong 😂
Incidentally, despite the heatwave turning my brain to mush (and the cold indifference of the universe) the first tentative keystrokes have been tapped into the latest document chronicling at least the beginning of the next phase of tales from the expanded Gruntleighverse. Stay (as they say) tuned 🙂
Our X FILES rewatch has reminded me that I always thought that this face resembled Chevy Chase, so each episode now features us singing "Chevy, Chevy, Chevy" at that point of the credits...
