Via NWS Norman and SPC, last night’s line of storms have been given a preliminary derecho classification: -At least 5 significant severe wind gusts (70+ mph) -At least 400 km (~250 miles) path length of severe wind reports -An unbroken or semi-broken line of storms that produces the damage

In honor of the Artemis II launch, a throwback to a couple years ago when I had VIP access to watch the GOES-U launch at Kennedy Space Center I saw the VAB that housed Artemis II, Launch Complex 39B, and I got to walk down the same ramp that the astronauts will walk down today before launch! 🚀
