Imbibe Coffee Roasters
@imbibecoffee
We roast speciality coffee very very well. We give: 1% of all our revenue to Women's Aid 1% to origin projects 1% to local projects 1% to staff = > 30% of profits Big businesses could easily run similarly. www.imbibe.ie
Tenuous but below did remind me of Phil Collins along with many other slebs from that Brass Eye episode.
Today I shall mostly be drinking this and listening to Animal Collective.
Was in Argentina for my honeymoon in 2007. Bought this jersey. Team included likes of Heinze, Saviola, Mascherano, Crespo, Riquelme, Aimar and a very young also Messi.
Today I shall mostly be drinking this and listening to Cigarettes After Sex.
Today I shall mostly be drinking this and listening to The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.
This is the third novel I’ve read by Jan Carson. She’s become one of my favourite Irish authors. A genuinely original voice. #speirgorm
Today I shall mostly be drinking this and listening to This Is Lorelei.
Montague St. (off Wexford St.), has become a brilliant and buzzy little hub for tasty good value food. Went to its latest addition - Zhuyi Fang Hand Pulled Noodles last night. They make the noodles in house. Incredibly tasty and got out for under €40 for 2.
Ivan Lendl, victim of the Mandela Effect because of a Simpsons episode. He won 8 Grand Slam titles and spent 270 weeks as the world number 1 - a record when he retired. Heard him referred to as ‘a choker’ on a podcast last week and think it’s how most outside tennis fans see him. Because Krusty.
Today I shall mostly be drinking this and listening to #GraceIves
Read ‘A Girl is a half formed thing’ when it came out and loved it. Went on a 12 year twin induced reading hiatus soon after. Looking forward to this.
‘To The Lighthouse’ is the only book I’ve read by Virginia Woolf. Looking forward to getting stuck into this.
And I’m in! Pre-sale tickets for This Is Lorelei (Nate Amos of Water From Your Eyes fame), at The Workman’s. Thanks as ever to @foggynotions.bsky.social for such bringing amazing acts to these shores. You can subscribe to their mail out/presale list here foggynotions.ie/register
Today I shall mostly be drinking this and listening to Grace Ives.
We'll be 8 years as a coffee roaster tomorrow. I'd be very grateful if you could read this Insta post which sets out why we're different to other businesses, why we're different and what we're trying to do www.instagram.com/p/DXv938ciDdC/ #speirgorm
A belated welcome post to our newest staff member Ian. He’s with us 6 months now and has been amazing. We’ll be 8 years as a coffee roaster this Friday and in that time one person has left - that was to emigrate. Welcome to the Hotel California Ian!
Bought this for one of the guys in the roastery who’s been reading a bit of Orwell recently. It’s one of the best novels I’ve ever read and I’d highly recommend if you like that sort of thing.
Today I shall mostly be drinking this and listening to #ElliottSmith

This just came up as a memory on my phone. Was from 2018. Parking was at a real premium on Sth Circular Road that day. Have no idea how they managed to do this.
Was just reminded today that we’ll be 8 years as a coffee roaster on May 1st. It was me and these two when we started. We’re all still here!
One of our customers bought me this. I never read non-fiction as I get enough of that in life but as it’s a gift will have to make an exception. He tells me it’s really excellent.
Working from home today. Realised I had no coffee. Thankfully we’re pretty good at delivering in Dublin 8!
Just finished this. A fantastic read. Would highly recommend.
Still my favourite shop sign. From my local chipper obviously advising patrons not to put hot chips in their pants. It’s unhygienic and it’s not clever.
Have the good fortune to be in Bardolino on Lake Garda. Just started reading Lincoln in the Bardo.
