Today in history: on July 7, 1986, Jackie Joyner-Kersee emerged as the dominant heptathlete, setting a world record (7,148 points) at the Goodwill Games in Moscow. Her score beat the old record by 202 points, making her the first heptathlete to top 7,000 points.

I love this photo of Knicks players with Mamdani by Ali Imam; it's the opposite of so many stiff, posed group shots. This feels like a photo from high school/college where someone's like "hey, let's take a photo" and everyone crowds in, big smiles, arms thrown around each other. It feels nostalgic.
