In GRT History Month Kemi Badenoch has decided to target GRT people in her equality drivel. Either Kemi has the evidence to back this up or she's just a racist that is not fit for public office. Were this any other race or community it would be headline news.....it mostly seems no has noticed.

On Romani stereotyping - its remarkable how the mixture of revulsion & romance is the same in the 18th century through to today. Its really sad how I keep being shown that research into Romani stereotyping isn't considered even slightly important.

A perfect reminder of why using 'GRT' is useless & harmful. It totally strips Romanies & Irish Travellers of their ethnic identity. I've been told 'Romanies aren't a race they're a culture' in peer review. I've not found 1 university or funder interested in research to address things like this

Media such as this entrenches the significant racism Romani people face everyday. Its why there is a need for Romani histories in universities throughout the world Valuing Romanies as the distinct cultural & ethnic group we are with a history deserving of research can have obvious & real impact 4/4

Finally getting round to playing Kingdom Come Deliverance II and it features Romanies so a short thread perfectly shows how well established & accepted anti-Romani racism is. The game camp features a 'Nomad' camp complete with Romanies - which is well done with great bits of language thrown in. 1/4
