it’s been 6 years today we lost him. Mom still silently weeps every day. even though I was not his child by birth, he never made me feel Less Than. taking Mom to movies later cause we’re both feeling feels 💔

This last night of Pride is hitting different. In 27 years with the State, I feel I’m not the token gay for once. OES participated in the Pride parade and I was part of a collective whole, not an isolated anomaly that only felt supported for 30 days a year-until now. It doesn’t end at 12 AM, folks 🏳️🌈
