Doing some archeology and came across my redesign of the Spider-Punk backpatch and layouts of the first two pages of our first Spider-Punk story
just now realizing that the first Blanche piece I ever saw was definitely this ad for F.I.S.T., which would have run in Dino Riders or Muppet Babies or Transformers or whatever Marvel comic I read when I was 5 (the art reused from this White Dwarf collection)
RIP to John Blanche, the powerhouse visionary artist. I always loved Blanche's drawings and paintings, but his models also had a special place in my heart- this Minotaur has stuck with me since I first encountered it as a teenager.
