My video on Obsession might end up pissing some people off...

The number of men I’ve seen actively dismissing women who appreciated this film to insist on their interpretation that Obsession is misogynistic is frankly astounding. They want to be seen like Joss Whedon, you know, before… Or Neil Gaiman before…. Anyways, they want to be seen as the man who gets celebrated as a feminist, one of the good ones, simply because they saw misogyny onscreen while doing the same chauvinistic bullshit by talking over the women they claim to be defending, who are actively telling them that there’s more going on here.
